1. General Questions
What is Holipix? Holipix is a specialized digital platform providing high-quality, royalty-free photography focused exclusively on holidays, travel, and festive celebrations.
Is Holipix really free? Yes! You can download and use any photo from our library for both personal and commercial projects at no cost.
Do I need to create an account to download photos? No, you can download photos as a guest. However, creating a free account allows you to follow your favorite contributors and save “Favorite” collections for later.
2. Licensing & Usage
Can I use Holipix photos for my business/commercial projects? Absolutely. Our Royalty-Free license allows you to use photos for websites, social media marketing, digital ads, and even printed promotional materials.
Do I need to give credit (attribution) to the photographer? Attribution is not legally required, but it is highly appreciated. It helps our photographers gain exposure and allows Holipix to continue offering free resources.
What are the restrictions on using Holipix photos? You cannot resell the photos as standalone files, use them to create a competing stock photo site, or use them in a defamatory way. Please see our [Terms of Service] for more details.
3. For Contributors
How can I contribute my photos to Holipix? Simply sign up for a contributor account, upload your high-resolution holiday photos, and add relevant tags. Our curation team will review and publish them if they meet our quality standards.
Do I keep the copyright to my photos? Yes, you retain full ownership and copyright of any photo you submit. You are simply granting Holipix a license to display and distribute them for free.
Can I delete my photos later? Yes, you can manage and delete your photos from your contributor dashboard at any time.
4. Technical Support
What is the resolution of the photos? Most Holipix photos are provided in high resolution (at least 4MP), suitable for both web and professional printing.
How do I find photos for a specific holiday? You can use the search bar or navigate through our “Collections” menu, where we have categorized photos by season (Summer, Winter, etc.) and specific holidays (Christmas, Lunar New Year, etc.).
Does Holipix offer AI-generated images? Yes, we allow AI-generated content that meets our quality standards. These are clearly labeled as “AI-Generated” to ensure transparency. You can filter these in or out in the search settings.
